Pointstreak Extends Agreement with the Belarus Ice Hockey Association

Toronto, ON – Pointstreak.com Inc. and the Belarus Ice Hockey Association (BIHA) are pleased to announce they have extended an agreement which will see Pointstreak provide real-time scoring, official statistics and league administrative services to the Belarus Extraleague as well as the Belarus National Team and National Junior programs. All statistics will be presented in the Russian language as well as English, German and other languages using Pointstreak’s patented real-time scoring and statistical system.

About Belarus Ice Hockey Association:
Hockey began at the end of 1940’s in Belarus. Since becoming an independent country in 1992, the Belarus Ice Hockey Association began to conduct a national championship. At the beginning of the country’s sovereignty there were only three indoor rinks. Today Belarus has 12 arenas and construction of a 15,000 seat arena will be completed in Minsk, the country’s capital. The Belarus Ice Hockey Association was created on March 6, 1992 and became the member of the IIHF on May 6 of the same year. Vladimir Naumov, has served as the Chairman of BIHA since 2001.
