The VFW Foundation Goes Full Throttle with 5050 Central during VFW 200 Race Weekend at MIS
Aug 31, 2012
On August 17th, the VFW Foundation introduced an exciting new addition to their VFW 200 race weekend at Michigan International Speedway, as they will debut the new 5050 Central raffling platform. The 50/50 Charity Raffle gives fans the chance to win a daily cash prize in the amount equal to half of the collected proceeds.
Amy Umlor, representing the VFW Foundation, said, "We are very excited to introduce the 5050 Central automated raffling system to race fans. The success of the system for non-profits is unquestionable and thanks to the tremendous support of race fans, the VFW Foundation anticipates being able to give back even more than they have in the past and we could not be happier or more proud."
Activation of 5050 Central services was prompted by the popularity of the 5050 Central system and its ability to help non-profit organizations and their fundraising efforts. Organizations utilizing the system to date have generated millions of dollars helping those in need.
Chris Meyer of 5050 Central was equally proud to be a part of this great program. "5050 Central is very excited to be a part of the VFW 200 weekend at MIS. We cannot be more pleased about our platform impacting the lives of many in the Michigan community and the military support programs of the VFW Foundation.”
Raffle tickets will be sold all weekend in the Fan Plaza in increments of 3 for $5, 10 for $10, or 40 for $20. Further information, including winning numbers and daily prizes, can be found at www.hmsworldwide.com.
