Pacific West Baseball League Partners with Pointstreak

Toronto, ONPointstreak Sports Technologies Inc. and the Pacific West Baseball League are pleased to announce they have reached an agreement which will see Pointstreak provide real-time scoring, official statistics, league administration services and a fresh re-vamped website to the league.

"Working with Pointstreak was a painless process and is another step of growth for the PWBL and its fans. This move will bring another level of professionalism to the PWBL" - PWBL Commission Board.

Pointstreak Stats' and integrated Website baseball platform will streamline the process of capturing and delivering game statistics for the Pacific West Baseball League and deliver those game events to the league and team websites in real-time for the benefit of players, fans and media partners. A unique feature of Pointstreak's baseball statistical solution is Game Live, a real-time flash application that streams play-by-play baseball results over a 3-D graphical image of a baseball diamond.  Pointstreak Stats for baseball is also geared towards the needs of media sources, providing Associated Press (AP) formatted box scores, allowing for easy reproduction of baseball stats into print media.

"Now entering its third season, the Pacific West Baseball League has been rapidly expanding as a Summer Collegiate Baseball League and Pointstreak is proud to be part of that growth moving forward. To have the ability to provide real-time scores and official statistics to their fans and media partners in true real-time is very exciting. Ultimately, providing accurate and relevant data will help to advance these collegiate baseball prospects towards their futures in the sport", said Paul Pettipiece, Vice President of Baseball Operations of Pointstreak Sports Technologies Inc.
