The Atlanta Braves and 5050 Central: A Brave, New World

Toronto, ON - The Atlanta Braves, the Braves Foundation and 5050 Central Ltd. are excited to announce the introduction of the 5050 Central raffle system into Turner Field for opening day. The Braves made the decision to install 5050 Central into the ballpark during the offseason and preparations have been ongoing to launch the system on opening day. The Braves Foundation has worked with the 5050 Central staff to create a holistic solution that will benefit the fans, the team and most importantly the Braves Foundation and their member charities.

Ericka Newsome-Hill, Executive Director of the Atlanta Braves Foundation stated, "The Atlanta Braves Foundation is truly excited about unveiling the new 5050 Central system at Turner Field.  We've seen the results from other teams and organizations and we fully expect the Braves Foundation's 5050 raffles to be an integral part of raising funds in support of the metro Atlanta community.

"5050 Central President Kevin Lovitt remarked, "The Atlanta Braves and the Braves Foundation have set a standard in their preparation to introduce the 5050 Central system.   Our staff has been able to work closely with every Braves department, from marketing to game entertainment, to create a dynamic, customized solution that will become an exciting part of the fan experience at every home game.  We want to thank the Braves for allowing us to become a partner in their efforts to benefit charities across metro Atlanta."

5050 Central is an electronic 50/50 raffle management system that drives consumer participation in raffle events while providing clear accountability for leading sports organizations. The 5050 Central system electronically captures every transaction while providing updated real-time raffle information to displays (e.g. Jumbotron) located throughout the venue. Tickets are sold to fans through fixed touch-screen terminals and mobile devices, creating an effortless data collection system that provides accountability and eliminates human error. Sports organizations benefit through clear accountability and their associated charities benefit by sharing the revenue of larger raffle pots. 5050 Central is a wholly owned subsidiary of Pointstreak Sports Technologies Inc. and boasts some of sports' best brands as clients, such as: Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, Orlando Magic, Atlanta Braves, Boston Bruins, Calgary Flames, Hockey Canada and the Canadian Football League.
