Central Hockey League Partners with 5050 Central

Toronto, ON — The Central Hockey League (CHL), in conjunction with 5050 Central, announced today that the two companies have reached an agreement making 5050 Central the "Preferred Raffling System of the CHL".   "The technology from 5050 Central has revolutionized the fan experience in arenas," saidDuane Lewis, CHL Commissioner.  "The CHL is very excited to partner with the people at 5050 Central and know that our teams that implement their state-of-the-art tracking and operating systems will benefit tremendously from the partnership and the fans will share in our excitement making their experience at a CHL game more memorable." In addition to the preferred partner status, 5050 Central will be used at the 2012 CHL All-Star Game in Prescott Valley, Arizona and will be the presenting sponsor of the CHL's monthly award for the top rookie presented each month to the top performing first-year player in the CHL for that particular month.  The award will be called the 5050 Central CHL Rookie of the Month. "We are excited about our relationship with the CHL," stated Kevin Lovitt, President of 5050 Central.  "Our parent company, Pointstreak Sports Technologies Inc. has enjoyed a long standing and positive relationship with the CHL and we look forward to the same with member franchises of the CHL.   5050 Central's platform will not only enhance the fans experience but it will provide the vehicle to help CHL teams give back to the community".

Teams utilizing the 5050 Central system will experience improved sales capabilities, larger jackpots and the ability to display the real-time updates of the prize money on the in-arena video systems giving fans the fastest information relative to the raffle.  The demand for the raffles is easily met by roaming ticket-sellers equipped with hand-held devices for quick, safe and convenient sales.
