North American Hockey League Chooses Pointstreak

September 17 th , 2004

( Frisco , TX ) The North American Hockey League (NAHL), in conjunction with Pointstreak.com and Cardinal Sports Management, is proud to announce that Pointstreak.com Inc. will become the official statistical provider of the NAHL for the 2004/2005 regular season.

The NAHL will be using Pointstreak PRO, Pointstreak's real-time scoring system for professional, semi-pro, elite junior and college hockey leagues. Pointstreak PRO essentially replaces paper gamesheets with touch-screen terminals or laptops to collect statistical information as it happens during hockey games. NAHL game scores, and other statistical information, are then broadcast over the Internet, via nahl.com, to any online computer in the world. Besides eliminating the data-entry of paper gamesheets, Pointstreak's system also uses powerful web-based, database-driven software to streamline and automate many aspects of league operations. Most importantly, for the NAHL fan, Pointstreak's scoring system will provide up-to-date and detailed statistics for their favourite team as well as standings and results for the entire league.

By choosing Pointstreak as its official statistical provider, the NAHL continues to demonstrate that it is committed to improving the quality of the league for the players and fans, said Scott Secord, President & CEO of Pointstreak.com Inc., We are confident that Pointstreak's state-of-the-art scoring and statistical system will support the goals of the NAHL and its partners.

The NAHL was highly impressed with the Pointstreak system when they demonstrated it to us last season, and that was a determining factor for our league to choose Pointstreak as our statistical provider, said NAHL commissioner Michael Santos. "Pointstreak is state-of-the-art and we are excited to be associated with them."

The North American Hockey League is the largest Junior A hockey league. The NAHL has grown from a Detroit-based league to one which today spans west to Alaska and east to Ohio . The NAHL's primary goal is to enhance the development of its players through top-quality coaching, extensive practice time and a rigorous game schedule. For its 2004/2005 season, the NAHL will have 20 member teams competing in three divisions. More information about the NAHL can be found on its website at www.nahl.com .

Pointstreak.com Inc. is the leading provider of real-time scoring and advanced league administration and statistical systems for hockey organizations of any size. Pointstreak's product line includes solutions for amateur and recreational hockey leagues as well as for professional, semi-professional, college and elite junior leagues.
