North American Hockey League Chooses Pointstreak

( Frisco , TX ) The North American Hockey League (NAHL), in conjunction with and Cardinal Sports Management, is proud to announce that Inc. will become the official statistical provider of the NAHL for the 2004/2005 regular season.

The NAHL will be using Pointstreak PRO, Pointstreak's real-time scoring system for professional, semi-pro, elite junior and college hockey leagues. Pointstreak PRO essentially replaces paper gamesheets with touch-screen terminals or laptops to collect statistical information as it happens during hockey games. NAHL game scores, and other statistical information, are then broadcast over the Internet, via, to any online computer in the world. Besides eliminating the data-entry of paper gamesheets, Pointstreak's system also uses powerful web-based, database-driven software to streamline and automate many aspects of league operations. Most importantly, for the NAHL fan, Pointstreak's scoring system will provide up-to-date and detailed statistics for their favourite team as well as standings and results for the entire league.
